Description: Custom theme for Heranvi — a premium editorial lifestyle discovery and recommendation platform for Indian women. Full customer-facing theme (WP-05 Steps 07-08): homepage, article and Product templates, category/search/author/404, and the public anonymous recommendation questionnaire at /recommend/. Gate 3.3: adds page.php, the theme's first dedicated template for native WordPress Pages — previously missing entirely, so a Page request fell through the template hierarchy to index.php's generic archive/card listing instead of rendering the Page's own title and content. Gate 4.1.1: footer's Legal column now also links Editorial Policy, via the same heranvi_footer_page_link() mechanism as Privacy Policy/Terms/Affiliate Disclosure. Gate 5.2: heranvi_render_card() (the shared card renderer for Trending/Latest/Beauty & Fashion/Wellness/Recommended Products/Related Stories/Search/Shop/category archives) now requests the purpose-registered heranvi-card image size instead of the built-in medium_large, matching every other card renderer. Gate 5.2.1: heranvi-card standardized on 3:2 (720x480, was 640x480/4:3) to match real editorial Featured Image photography — the 4:3 hard crop was cutting meaningful artwork/logo/text from a real 3:2 source image on listing cards; .heranvi-card__media's CSS aspect-ratio now matches. Gate 5.2.2: the singular Article Featured Image is now also 3:2 — a new heranvi-article-hero size (1200x800), used only by single.php, replaces heranvi-hero there (heranvi-hero itself is untouched, since the homepage hero/category hero/Product detail page still share it); .heranvi-article__featured-image's CSS aspect-ratio changed from 2:1 to 3:2 to match. V1 release audit fix: adds a @media (prefers-reduced-motion: reduce) block — non-essential transitions/animations run near-instantly and .heranvi-card:hover's translateY is neutralized for users who request it; default behavior for everyone else is unchanged, no JS added. Homepage newsletter dedup fix: footer.php's generic newsletter CTA is now also suppressed on the homepage ( ! is_front_page(), alongside the existing ! is_singular('post') for Articles), since front-page.php already renders its own "Get the Heranvi Edit" CTA — the homepage previously rendered both back to back. front-page.php's own CTA now carries the shared #heranvi-newsletter anchor id, matching single.php's existing pattern for Articles, so the header's Subscribe link still resolves correctly on the homepage. Newsletter post-submission UX: heranvi_render_newsletter_form() (inc/template-tags.php, the single shared renderer every placement already routes through) now also renders a hidden "Check your inbox" status message, revealed by the new assets/js/newsletter-status.js only on Reach's own real, bubbling reach:form-submitted CustomEvent (dispatched by Reach's shipped embed.js after its iframe posts a reach:submitted message back) — no polling, no timers, no email storage, no cookies/localStorage/sessionStorage, no additional network request, and the Reach iframe itself is never touched. Patch 1.4.1: production bugfix — the post-submission message wasn't appearing because newsletter-status.js listened at the document level and relied on the event bubbling there, which fails if the container isn't connected to document at the exact moment Reach dispatches it; the listener now attaches directly to each [data-reach-form] container instead, removing that dependency entirely.
